Miodrag Vuković - Secondment from IORS to VHIR

During the secondment at Vall d'Hebron – Institut de Recerca (VHIR) from April 1st to May 31st, 2025, Miodrag Vuković focused on optimizing and evaluating extracellular vesicle (EV) isolation techniques using cancer cell lines. His work involved large-scale cell culturing, collection of EV-enriched conditioned media, and the application of various EV isolation rotocols.

Special emphasis was placed on A549 lung cancer cells transduced with mClover- xpressing lentiviral constructs and the MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cell line, aiming to assess the efficiency and compatibility of isolation strategies for downstream vesicular proteome and glycome analyses.
