Iwona Borošak - Secondment from GENOS to NKUA

Building on the work carried out during the first two months of her secondment, Iwona Borošak from partner GENOS dedicated the third month to proteomic data analysis of extracellular vesicle (EV) samples at NKUA. This phase focused on processing and interpreting proteomic data to evaluate the performance of the optimized sample preparation workflow and further improve the overall analysis workflow.

Throughout this phase, Iwona strengthened her expertise in proteomic data analysis, gaining practical experience with data processing, quality assessment, and the interpretation of complex protein datasets. By integrating experimental results with bioinformatic analyses, she contributed to refining the overall analytical workflow and improving the robustness and reproducibility of EV proteomic studies.

Working closely with the host laboratory team, Iwona participated in the evaluation of proteomic datasets and the optimization of data analysis strategies. This collaborative effort further enhanced the efficiency of the workflow and provided valuable insights for future extracellular vesicle proteomics research.
