The EXPAND-EV project was officially launched on January 23, 2025, in Belgrade, Serbia. The kick-off meeting brought together researchers from all project partners to discuss the project objectives, implementation process, and their research interests. A total of eight academic institutions and four non-academic partners participated in the event, which was held in a hybrid format.
During the meeting, the project coordinating team outlined the project’s objectives and established the management structures and processes. The Project Officer from the European Commission’s Research Executive Agency joined the meeting remotely, providing an overview of the rules and guidelines for implementing MSCA staff exchange projects. Each partner presented their tasks and contributions, sparking discussions on collaboration and project execution.
EXPAND-EV is funded under the European Commission’s Horizon Europe MSCA Staff Exchanges call HORIZON-MSCA-2023-SE-01. The Staff Exchanges initiative supports short-term international and intersectoral exchanges of research and innovation personnel across participating organizations. Launched on January 1, 2025, the project will run for four years, concluding on December 31, 2028.
