As part of the EXPAND-EV project’s mission to strengthen technical expertise across its research network, our partner Hellenic Pasteur Institute organized a specialized training session on Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) for the characterization of Extracellular Vesicles (EVs) on 30 October 2025.

The session combined theoretical instruction with hands-on laboratory practice, offering participants a comprehensive understanding of this advanced analytical technique. During the morning session, participants explored the principles of NTA and learned to apply the method within the Molecular Virology Laboratory, gaining practical experience in experimental setup and data acquisition.

In the afternoon, the training focused on data analysis and interpretation, including the evaluation of diameter probability curves, clustering patterns, and time-series analyses, further enhancing participants’ ability to extract meaningful insights from NTA datasets.
