Teodora Ćato - Secondment from IORS to GEN

During July and August, Teodora Ćato from the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of Serbia (IORS) visited the GENOS lab in Zagreb for a month and a half, as part of the EXPAND-EV project. Teodora participated in practical training in UPLC based methods and experiments which were part of the development of an UPLC protocol for glycomic analysis of EVs isolated from plasma and cell-culture supernatants.

During her stay, Teodora was also a member of the GENOS & IORS team preparing a review publication "Molecular aspects of protein glycosylation and diagnostic potential in oncology" for the Oncology Insights, official Journal of the Serbian Association for Cancer Research, in an effort to widen the reach of this research field in Serbia.
